If you want to virtually relive your childhood, Lego provides a program called the LEGO Digital Designer to virtualy create your creations.

Not yet anyway. PayPerPost, which pays bloggers to write about products and sites from their network of advertisers, won’t be announcing who until sometime next week. I believe that PayPerPost has acquired another paid blogging service or a online ads network. What better way to eliminate the competition then to acquire them in the style of Microsoft or Google.

PayPerPost has done an excellent job creating a “buzz” around the web, although sponsored, there are 7 posts about this acquisition on Technorati (at the time of this post) in the last 3 hours. There is a lot of people speculating on who they bought or what they’re up to, and it is a sure bet to drive traffic to them. Who do you think they acquired? MyBlogLog? Google? I’m not really sure, but as long as it helps them grow and helps me achieve my dot com mogul status, I don’t really care.

Spud Oregon’s blog focuses on posting site reviews and having his readers critique and vote on them as well. Readers “Give Rice” to sites the like and in doing so they receive some back link love . I think his approach is unique and a excellent addition to the blogging community. It gives exposure to lesser known blogs (like mine). So by giving me some “rice” you’ll earn your site two free backlinks.

Garry Conn has uncovered a disturbing new trend — domain squatters have started registering the names of the killer as well as the victims of Virginia Tech and are trying to make money off of them! Just disgusting.

After the Virginia Tech Massacre caused by Cho Seung-Hui, the gunman who apparently killed 32 people and then himself on the morning of Monday, April 16th, 2007 at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Va., there has been a domain name craze going on. This is very typical of any major event that takes place and makes nationwide and worldwide news.

So for all you bandwagon hoppers, here are some quick guidelines to follow:

1. Don’t boo during the US National Anthem. Nothing good can come from this.
What if they give us back Celione Dion? (No!)

2. Don’t throw your beer. Why are you wasting your overpriced beer? Isn’t it like $15 for a small plastic cup now??

3. It is customary to throw your bra out on the ice when Cowan scores. (Females only, sorry boys, maybe next year?)

4. Don’t be a bad apple. It only takes one bad apple to spoil the lot. There is enough construction in the city, do you really want us to have more?

The New York Times had a feature on the spiky fruit known as Durian. The Durian, is native to South Asia, and is most known for its pungent aroma and spiky outer shell.

To me, it smells like someone had puked. It’s just that bad to me. Durian is known to be one of the best tasting fruits in the world, but I can not get over its stinky smell. My parents would love buying the durian flavoured ice cream. They also would buy me my favourite (chocolate chip mint) but to their amusement it would both come in an unlabeled white container. It was always a 50/50 chance… I always lost.

Scientist Songpol Somsri has figured out how to genetically remove the smell from these fruits (Yay!). Now to figure out how to eliminate the wet bus smell…

Dear Mr. Minister,

I’m in the process of renewing my passport, and still cannot believe
this. How is it that Radio Shack has my address and telephone number and
knows that I bought a t.v. cable from them back in 1997, and yet the
Federal Government is still asking me where I was born and on what date.

For crying out loud, do you guys do this by hand? My birth date you have
on my social insurance card, is on all the income tax forms I’ve filed
for the past 30 years, my health insurance card, my driver’s license, on
the last eight bloody passports I’ve had, on all those stupid customs
declaration forms I’ve had to fill out before being allowed off the
planes over the last 30 years, and all those insufferable census forms
that are done at election times.
Would somebody please take note, once and for all, that my mother’s name
is Maryanne, my father’s name is Robert and I’d be absolutely astounded
if that ever changed between now and when I die!

I apologize, Mr. Minister. I’m really pissed off this morning. Between
you an’ me, I’ve had enough! You send the application to my house, then
you ask me for my address. What is going on? You have a gang of
Neanderthals workin’ there?!

Look at my damn picture. Do I look like Bin Laden? I don’t want to dig
up Yasser Araft, for crying out loud. I just want to go and park my butt
on a sandy beach. And would someone please tell me, why would you give a
shit whether I plan on visiting a farm in the next 15 days?! If I ever
got the urge to do something weird to a chicken or a goat, believe you
me, I’d sure as hell not want to tell anyone!

Well, I have to go now, ’cause I have to go to the other end of the city
and get another copy of my birth certificate, to the tune of $60! Would
it be so complicated to have all the services in the same spot to assist
in the issuance of a new passport the same day?? Nooooo, that’d be too
easy and maybe make sense.

You’d rather have us running all over the place like chickens with our
heads cut off, then find some asshole to confirm that it’s really me on
the stupid picture – you know, the one where we’re not allowed to
smile?! Hey, you know why we can’t smile? We’re ticked off!

What is Hodgkin’s Lymphoma?

According to The Canadian Cancer Society website:

Hodgkin lymphoma is a cancer that starts in the cells of the lymphatic system. Cancers of the lymphatic system are called lymphomas. The lymphatic system helps to protect the body from disease. It is a network of channels (the lymphatics) that run alongside the arteries and veins in the body, and bean-shaped glands (lymph nodes) in the neck, armpits, chest, abdomen and groin. The lymphatics carry a clear fluid called lymph to and from the tissues of the body. Lymph contains special cells called lymphocytes that help fight infection. These cells are produced in the lymph nodes and in other parts of the body such as the spleen and the bone marrow. Waste materials, bacteria and unwanted cells, including cancer cells, are filtered out as lymph passes through the lymph nodes
