Legos

I’ve always loved building with legos blocks. It is amazing the things you can build with them.

If you want to virtually relive your childhood, Lego provides a program called the LEGO Digital Designer to virtualy create your creations.

PayPerPost Acquires…..not sure?

Google announced that they plan to acquire internet advertising and web user profiling giant Doubleclick, not to be outdone, PayPerPost has announced that they have also acquired another company too. Who that is…they won’t say.

Not yet anyway. PayPerPost, which pays bloggers to write about products and sites from their network of advertisers, won’t be announcing who until sometime next week. I believe that PayPerPost has acquired another paid blogging service or a online ads network. What better way to eliminate the competition then to acquire them in the style of Microsoft or Google. Hey Charlie! I got a site review!

Lately, I start my day by checking up on my blog, and this time I noticed a pingback from Nice4Rice. Today, Nick Ramsay, aka Spud Oregon, had reviewed my blog!

Danny Dang’s World

Spud Oregon’s blog focuses on posting site reviews and having his readers critique and vote on them as well. Readers “Give Rice” to sites the like and in doing so they receive some back link love . I think his approach is unique and a excellent addition to the blogging community. It gives exposure to lesser known blogs (like mine). So by giving me some “rice” you’ll earn your site two free backlinks.

Thanks for making my day, and I warned you all about Charlie!

Mourning the loss at Virginia Tech University

The first thing you should do today is take a moment, put down your blackberry, turn off your cellular phone, and remember the innocent lives lost in the senseless tragedy that occurred on Monday at Virginia Tech University. When I last checked, there are 33 confirmed deaths included the killer. It wasn’t too long ago since the Montreal shooting rampage on September 13th, 2006. I don’t understand why these events keep happening…

Garry Conn has uncovered a disturbing new trend — domain squatters have started registering the names of the killer as well as the victims of Virginia Tech and are trying to make money off of them! Just disgusting.

Excerpt from Garry Conn’s post on the domain registering.

After the Virginia Tech Massacre caused by Cho Seung-Hui, the gunman who apparently killed 32 people and then himself on the morning of Monday, April 16th, 2007 at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Va., there has been a domain name craze going on. This is very typical of any major event that takes place and makes nationwide and worldwide news.

If you’re feeling as lost as I am, Ms. Danielle has a great post on how you can help .

Game 1: Towel Power Begins

Today marks Game 1 of the Vancouver Canucks vs. Dallas Stars Stanley Cup Playoff series. You can feel the buzz around the city, everyone seems to be eating, breathing, the Vancouver Canucks. The flags are out in full force, even some of the
transit buses have their flags on or messages scrolling on “Go Canucks Go!”

So for all you bandwagon hoppers, here are some quick guidelines to follow:

1. Don’t boo during the US National Anthem. Nothing good can come from this.
What if they give us back Celione Dion? (No!)

2. Don’t throw your beer. Why are you wasting your overpriced beer? Isn’t it like $15 for a small plastic cup now??

3. It is customary to throw your bra out on the ice when Cowan scores. (Females only, sorry boys, maybe next year?) Continue reading…
