What’s your wish?

People who know me know that one of my favourite cars is the BMW M3. One day I would love to have a stable of all the generations, but for now I can just imagine. This was not an actual BMW ad but I thought it was done pretty well that it could pass for one.

What the girl says to the guy “Du darfst Dir was wünschen.” which roughly translates to the english equivalent to “Make a wish”. Anyone want to hook me up with a test drive?

Alternative Fuel Cars

Now that gas prices are hovering at the 1.45cent\litre mark people have started to reconsider driving. It has effected everything from your grocery bill to travel costs. More and more people are staying home for vacations instead of going on road trips or hopping on to a plane.

Have you considered an alternative vehicle type like a Hybrid or electric vehicle? The Tesla Roadster is one the world’s only electric vehicle capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. That should satisfy the gear heads for performance.

I have been thinking a lot about creating a hybrid vehicle that runs on vegetable oil aka Frybrids. There are several companies offering the conversion kits, which will convert a diesel car to run on both vegetable oil and diesel. A 2000+ model VW Jetta is capable of running close to 1000km per diesel tank and add 900km on the frybrid system, that is some very good fuel economy.

For all you BMW M3 fans, here is the Official E92 M3 Commercial. The new body is growing on me, but I still prefer the look of the E46 M3. This new V8 may change my opinion quickly though.
