Hey Danny, just saw your post now. Here are my responses:

I participated in the Blogathon to support the David Suzuki Foundation. Tiny Bites is intended to be a food blog with a green focus, and I am a huge fan of Dr. Suzuki, so DSF was a natural choice.

    1. I’ve been salsa dancing since 1998 and volunteer my time and lens to SalsaVancouver.net events.

    2. Since I was 6, I’ve wanted to meet David Suzuki and then proceed with my scheme to take over as host of The Nature of Things.

    3. I have an irrational fear of walking underneath construction cranes. It’s therefore a little difficult to manoeuvre in the streets of downtown Vancouver.

    4. I translate french and spanish (usually salsa) songs on my personal blog, karenhamilton.ca. Disclaimer: I’m not fluent, so correct me where needed!

    5. My family nicknamed me “Bam Bam” as I was freakishly strong and large as a baby. Unfortunately, Bam Bam with a thick Filipino accent sounds more like “Bum Bum”. They no longer call me that (thank God).

    6. While I love cooking and eating gourmet meals whenever possible, I have a profound attachment to Spam, tinned corned beef, and Vienna sausages. (But I think most Filipinos can say the same thing…)
