BUT the thing is once you enable the dofollow on a blog you will get bombarded with massive amounts of spam comments that promote all sorts of irrelevant post about poker, casinos, pills, and insurance. It's sad how fast they can find you and pile up large amounts of comments. Google needs to come up with a new way to allow people give credit to the post that are relevant without hindering everyone. That is one of the problems with memes. If it doesn't link through to content, there are no trackbacks, and I have so much junk appearing in Technorati there is no way of knowing if that was a new link, or something posted a month ago.
